Rotational Shelter

A Typical Week

Families arrive at the Host Shelter on Sunday evenings at 5:30 PM.


Dinner is served daily at 6pm. Families are responsible for their children along  with clean up and chores from dinner.


Families are provided items in which parents will create sack lunches for the family for the next day.


After dinner, volunteers spend time with the families playing games, assisting with homework or just talking.


Adults turn in at 10 pm; children at an age appropriate earlier time.


Families wake up at 6 AM and are provided with breakfast (cereal, etc.)


Between 630 AM and 7 AM the families depart to return to the FPPC Day Center.


Day Center Activities

Once the families arrive at the day center, the day begins.


Parents and children ready themselves for the day.


Children depart the day center for school.


Parents depart the day center for work*.


Parents will also participate in targeted case    management and receive skills training to help them achieve sustainable housing.
